About Banrisul IT International Forum
Banrisul IT International Forum is an annual conference held since 2008 by Banrisul - Banco do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul - one of the major Brazilian banks, and an important player in Brazilian IT industry. The Forum has been reviewed as an excellent opportunity to meet experts from different fields, including vendors and local authorities from the Brazilian Financial System and the Brazilian Government.
Since its inception in 2008, the Forum has been a reference in discussing new technologies and the future of global payments. In its 3rd edition , it will focus on security in electronic transactions and payments, a topic considered of great interest by the majority of Brazilian financial institutions.
Topics on the agenda include:
- Evolution of payment technology;
- E-commerce;
- International security standards;
- Fraud and e-commerce;
- PCI Standards.
During the event, Banrisul will also promote a debate on PCI standards and the new versions of the standards that are about to be published.
