Letter from the Associate Director

Dear Friend of the Smart Card Alliance,

We greatly appreciate your interest in the Smart Card Alliance Latin America (SCALA) membership. As a non-profit industry association, we hope to assist you in finding valuable information and resources to help promote the use and understanding of smart card technology in your vertical market.

As the industries non partisan association we aspire to bring together smart card technology providers and end users in an open forum to address some of the challenges and opportunities of our industry. This contrast makes the Alliance a unique place where all people affected by the industry can exchange ideas, and work together to develop and expand the use of all types of integrated circuit ‘Chip’ cards and alternative form factor smart cards in Latin America. The Sectors that are represented in SCALA include financial, transit, government, security, and healthcare.

Your membership dollars will provide you and your organization the following benefits:
