2013 Smart Card Alliance Member Meeting, Coral Gables, Fla., December 9, 2013–The Smart Card Alliance Latin America (SCALA) announced its new Executive Committee today at the 2013 Smart Card Alliance Member Meeting. Inteligensa, Aug. 06, 2012- Inteligensa presents their innovative Strong Authentication products to the Panamanian and Latin American banking, as part of its participation in the XII Clab Panama Congress 2012, held between the 11th and 13th of September in Panama City.

SCALA to distribute white paper to attendees at ‘EMV Tour - Quito 2012’ in Ecuador

QUITO, ECUADOR, JUNE 6, 2012–To further aid the on-going EMV implementations in Latin America and the Caribbean, the Smart Card Alliance Latin America (SCALA) chapter today announced that its EMV roadmap white paper, “Card Payments Roadmap in Latin America: How Does EMV Impact the Payments Infrastructure?” is now available in Spanish and Portuguese. Inteligensa, 16/04/2012 - Users of public transport in Latin America and the rest of the world can now have the security and ease of use of a standard-format card for paying fares on busses, subways and trains, thanks to new contactless payment solutions developed by Inteligensa.

Our company, whose IntelCav affiliate is the 8th largest bank card manufacturer in the world, has created new electronic devices based on RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), which are available in a bank-card form factor or as iThing, which comes either as a key fob or as an adhesive backed label suitable for sticking to a cellphone. Any of these can be waved close to a small reader device to quickly and easy validate fare payment.
